EUpravo Zato and WMG partners of the BELTALKS forum organised by GLOBSEC

The think tank GLOBSEC, in cooperation with the embassies of the United Kingdom, France and Italy, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation and the organization Friends of Europe, with partner support from the EUpravo Zato initiative and the Wireless Media Group (WMG), held the international forum BELTALKS – Belgrade Economic Talks at the Hyatt Hotel in Belgrade, dedicated to key political and economic challenges facing the European Union and the Western Balkans.

The forum brought together around 100 participants from Europe and the region, including heads of state and government, representatives of European Union institutions, parliamentarians, business leaders and experts. The focus was on the European Union’s adaptation to the new geopolitical reality, with an emphasis on the strategic importance of deepening economic cooperation with candidate countries.

At the closing of the forum, GLOBSEC Executive Director Daniel Braun stated:
“Western Balkans is part of the European family, and GLOBSEC will continue to open up the most important questions of Europe’s future.”
The partnership at the first BELTALKS forum further confirmed the mission of the EUpravo Zato initiative to strengthen understanding, trust and cooperation between Serbia, the Western Balkans and the European Union, as well as the continuity of cooperation with GLOBSEC and Friends of Europe on events dedicated to the European future of the region.
