WMG Foundation has presented a special publication titled “SpOna,” created to mark the launch of the women’s initiative of the same name.

The publication was introduced at an event celebrating two years of the WMG Foundation’s work, during which the Women’s Initiative “SpOna” project was officially launched. The event was attended by representatives of institutions, partners from the business and civil sectors, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as collaborators and friends of the foundation.
The “SpOna” publication is conceived as a kind of manifesto dedicated to women’s struggle and women’s success. Through a series of interviews with women who have achieved notable results in various fields, this edition provides a unique insight into the current situation and challenges faced by women, as well as recommendations aimed at improving existing practices for the benefit of society as a whole.

The “SpOna” initiative itself is designed as a space for connecting women and organizations, with the goal of strengthening their position and influence in society through joint action.
The project focuses on areas where women are present and successful, but still encounter obstacles in reaching their full professional and social potential—science, business, sports, creative industries, and diplomacy.
Through networking, knowledge exchange, and increasing visibility, “SpOna” aims to contribute to the empowerment of women, provide support at different stages of their professional development, and encourage their greater participation in social processes.

The goal of the initiative is to connect women of different generations and experiences, as well as to establish cooperation between sectors and institutions that recognize the importance of gender equality for long-term social development.
