WMG Foundation organises first training on gender-sensitive communication

Gender-Sensitive Communication in the Public Sphere” is the title of the first training session organised by the WMG Foundation for the EUpravozato team, with the aim of strengthening their capacity to recognise and change narratives that shape social norms and influence behaviour, decisions, and expectations. The training was carried out in collaboration with the organisation Women on Boards Adria, and its goal was to empower participants to identify and analyse gendered narratives in everyday speech and in the media, as well as to develop practical skills for inclusive and responsible communication.

During the workshop, topics such as the impact of language on shaping attitudes and expectations, the role of the media in reproducing gender stereotypes, and specific tools for promoting equality through everyday communication were addressed.

The WMG Foundation is strategically oriented towards building sustainable, inclusive, and equitable communities. Through such educational initiatives, it continues to invest in creating spaces where all voices are equally valued and where communication contributes to positive social change.
